1992 MOSLER CONSULIER SPORT EXOTIC RACE CAR COLLECTIBLE VEHICLE VN:43CSA1127NRC1C001 5,593 miles, the last example of the GTP model produced and is said to be one of only two production cars powered by an optional Shelby-tuned 2.2-liter Turbo III inline-four mated to a Getrag A568 manual transaxle. Additional features include a custom two-tone House of Kolor paint job, an IMSA/Bridgestone Supercar Safety Package, aluminum subframes and rocker arms, Revolution wheels, an interchangeable exhaust system, removable Plexiglas windows, Safety equipment includes a padded roll cage with a removable driver’s door bar, a Firebottle onboard fire suppression system, and a master electrical shutoff. Recaro SRD seats feature five-point harnesses that were renewed during a 2011 service, Fittipaldi Personal steering wheel. Instrumentation includes a central tachometer and a 160-mph speedometer to the driver’s right. Additional equipment includes an HKS electronic boost controller, cruise control, electric door locks and mirrors, and a single intermittent windshield wiper. An air conditioning system was partially installed from the factory, but will need a condenser, receiver drier, and other items to be complete, turbocharged Shelby 2.2L T3 twin-cam four utilizes a fifth fuel injector and was a $7,500 option for the Series 2 GTP Sport. The engine was factory-rated at 224HP and drives the rear wheels through a Getrag A568 five-speed manual transaxle that was distinct to the Shelby-powered GTP and features a 3.85:1 final drive ratio.
